The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. Work completed in March 2021 included replacing the valves, resurfacing the cylinder heads, regrinding the rocker arms, and replacing the piston rings and valve springs. Turbo-specification valve covers have been installed.
