Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with 225/50 front and 245/45 rear Yokohama Sport tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The front sport seats are upholstered in tan leather and complemented by a color-coordinated center console and door panels as well as a contrasting dash. Equipment includes a Wevo short shifter, an Alpine head unit, and power windows. Wrinkles are visible on the dashboard, and wear is present on the outboard left seat bolsters and other interior components.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 300-km/h speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 140k kilometers (~ 87k miles), approximately 57k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in October 2004, and true mileage is unknown.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six is equipped with components that were refurbished by Ollie’s of Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 2015 and was reassembled in 2018, according to the seller. Work performed at that time is said to have included splitting the case, regrinding the camshafts, performing a valve job, removing a broken head stud, and replacing the head gaskets and stem seals as well as the rocker arm and rod bushings. The factory turbocharger was reportedly replaced with a BorgWarner K27 unit, and the battery and fuel pumps were replaced in preparation of the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle is said to have been refurbished under current ownership including the replacement of the second and third synchros.
