The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in beige leather complemented by a brown dashboard and multi-tone door panels. Amenities include power windows, cruise control, and a Blaupunkt equalizer and amplifier hooked to Kenwood speakers. The stereo has been reinstalled since the photos were taken and is said to turn on but not produce sound. Fading is visible on the driver’s seat and the air-conditioning system does not work
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as an 85-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. Records indicate that the 85-mph speedometer was replaced in favor of a 150-mph unit in 1986, and the 85-mph unit was reinstalled in 2018 and now shows 39k miles. The current owner reports adding approximately 55k miles. The removed 150-mph speedometer is included in the sale. The Carfax report shows a mileage inconsistency in July 2019, and total mileage is unknown.
The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. A blower motor hose was reportedly recently replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle.
Manufacturer’s literature, a stamped service booklet, service records dating back to the 1980s, and spare and removed parts are included in the sale.
