The car was finished from the factory in Slate Blue Metallic (X6) and has been repainted. Features include a sunroof, fog lights, dual side mirrors, a RUF-style front spoiler, a rear spoiler, and rear bumperettes. Convex dings in the right fenders are present, and the Carfax report indicates an accident in November 2013, which the selling dealer attributes to a parking-lot incident.
Modular 17″ Kinesis SuperCup wheels wear a dark finish and are mounted with 215/45 front and 255/40 rear Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes with ventilated rotors. A front strut brace has been added along with Bilstein shocks, an adjustable front sway bar, a larger rear sway bar, and hollow torsion bars. The brake rotors were machined and the pads were replaced in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in blue leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include power windows and an aftermarket sound system consisting of an Alpine stereo, a Zapco equalizer, a Sony crossover signal processor, two ADS amplifiers, and MB Quart midrange speakers and tweeters. A fabricated enclosure in the rear area houses four 6.5″ and four 8″ JL Audio subwoofers in place of the rear seats, which are included in the sale along with the rear parcel tray. The air conditioning compressor has been removed, and the system does not work.
The MOMO steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 119k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. An engine rebuild completed in September 2022 included overhauling the heads and connecting rods, cleaning the pistons, and replacing the lower head studs along with the timing chain, valves, gaskets, and bearings. A related invoice is shown in the gallery below along with photographs of the engine in various states of disassembly.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch, flywheel, and rear axle boots were replaced in September 2022, and the rear axles were cleaned and repacked at that time. A Fabspeed exhaust system has been installed.
