The 18″ AMG five-spoke wheels wear 285/60 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW tires, one of which shows sidewall damage. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The refreshed cabin features charcoal leather upholstery that covers the front sport bucket seats, dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional appointments include replacement black carpets, air conditioning, a VDO clock, and a Becker Europa cassette player with an LMKU-band radio.
The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of replacement instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The 2.7-liter M110.994 inline-six features a crossflow cylinder head design, twin camshafts, and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Factory-rated output was 148 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque when new. Work in preparation for the sale is said to have included the replacement of the spark plugs and ignition rotor as well as an oil change and a recharge of the air conditioning refrigerant. The truck has not passed California emissions testing.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front and rear differentials. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
