The refreshed cabin features charcoal leather upholstery that covers the front sport bucket seats, dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional appointments include replacement black carpets, air conditioning, a VDO clock, and a Becker Europa cassette player with an LMKU-band radio.
The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of replacement instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The 2.7-liter M110.994 inline-six features a crossflow cylinder head design, twin camshafts, and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Factory-rated output was 148 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque when new. Work in preparation for the sale is said to have included the replacement of the spark plugs and ignition rotor as well as an oil change and a recharge of the air conditioning refrigerant. The truck has not passed California emissions testing.
