A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset oil pressure gauge, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 569 miles.
The 5.0-liter V8 features tuned-port fuel injection and was factory rated at 215 horsepower when equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. According to the selling dealer, the fuel system was flushed, and an AC Delco fuel pump, a reproduction sending unit, and direct-replacement fuel injectors were installed along with a replacement Delco battery in preparation for the sale. The factory injectors are included in the sale, as seen in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner T-5 five-speed manual transmission and a 3.45:1 limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
