The car is finished in Grand Prix White and is equipped with factory flachbau bodywork (M505), a package that featured pop-up headlights, vented front fenders, side strakes, and extended side sills. Additional equipment includes a sunroof, headlight washers, fog lights, a “tea tray” rear spoiler, a rear window wiper, and a twin-tip exhaust outlet. The seller states that a ding on the right quarter panel was partially repaired, and close-up photos of this area of the car are provided in the gallery below. The windshield was reportedly replaced in 2019.
Body-color 16″ Fuchs wheels are mounted with 205/55 front and 245/45 rear Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires that the seller states should be replaced due to age. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated discs with Porsche-branded calipers.
The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Crimson Red leather with black piping and are joined by a black dashboard and two-tone door panels. The seller notes that an aftermarket alarm is installed alongside the factory-optioned alarm, and additional appointments include an analog clock, power windows, an aftermarket shift knob, and a Sony cassette stereo connected to Alpine R-Series door speakers. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat bottom, and the air-conditioning system leaks refrigerant. The automatic heat control board was replaced in 2020, per the seller.
The 930S-style leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, fuel level, and boost pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 25k of which have been added under current ownership.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. The battery is said to have been replaced in 2021, and the engine leaks oil when parked for long periods of time.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A finned auxiliary cooler is installed and depicted above.
The option sticker denotes the following equipment:
