The car was ordered with optional sport shock absorbers, and maintenance in preparation for sale included rebuilding the left front and rear brake calipers, and rebuilding the axles. A space-saver spare wheel is located in the trunk, along with a factory air compressor.

A MOMO Prototipo steering wheel frames a centrally mounted 7k-rpm tachometer, a 170-mph speedometer, and an analog clock, as well as gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level.
The 3.2-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. Recent work includes an oil change and replacement of the cylinder head temperature sensor.
Engine stamping *64J05988* is shown above and matches the engine number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The VIN sticker on the transmission also matches.
