The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Brooklands Green Pearl with a body-color roof panel. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A scrape in the right-rear corner resulted from a parking incident and was repaired in June 2009. A photograph of the incident and damage is shown in the gallery below. A chip and pitting are noted in the front windshield along with scratches in the finish, a missing door lock element, and imperfections in the windshield weatherstripping.
Staggered-diameter 16” and 17” seven-spoke aluminum wheels are mounted with Falken Ziex ZE512 tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in tan leather, while black leather covers the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. Signs of wear are noted on the seats, floor mats, and trim elements.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 45k miles, approximately 24k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt was last replaced in October 2009.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket exhaust system has been installed.
