The 17″ Cup II alloy wheels wear Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 255/40 out back. Stopping power is provided by four-piston calipers mounted over vented discs at each corner, and ABS was standard equipment. The front strut mounts were replaced in April 2021, while the brake fluid was flushed and the control arm bushings were replaced in October 2021.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Cashmere leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. Amenities include power-adjustable front bucket seats as well as air conditioning, cruise control, an analog clock, a Continental stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and power windows and mirrors. The ambient temperature display light was replaced in October 2020
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 38k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.0-liter DOHC inline-four features VarioCam variable valve timing and was factory rated at 236 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt, water pump, thermostat, fuel filter, spark plugs, engine mounts, and hood struts were replaced in October 2020. An August 2021 service record states that the radiator cap was replaced and notes noise resulting from the exhaust system contacting the undercarriage.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
A copy of the window sticker lists initial delivery to Rector Motor Car Company of Burlingame, California, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $44,634.
