The first-generation Viper was designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom Gale and utilizes composite body panels over a tubular steel space-frame chassis. This example is finished in Emerald Green (PGQ) and features fog lights, a removable soft top, a removable rear window, zip-up vinyl side windows, a tonneau cover, a forward-opening clamshell hood, and side-exit exhaust outlets. Roe Racing thermal insulation is said to have been fitted to the inner rocker panels.
The 17″ chrome-plated tri-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The RT/10 is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel vented disc brakes with RT/10-branded calipers up front. 1995 models were not equipped with ABS. An aftermarket power-steering vent tube has been installed.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather with a matching dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional equipment includes a heater, air conditioning, a trunk-mounted Alpine CD changer, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are mounted atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.
The 8.0-liter OHV V10 features Roe Racing intake tubes and K&N air filters, and it was factory rated at 400 horsepower. The battery is said to have been replaced in August 2022, when the oil was changed and the coolant was flushed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker lists colors and equipment along with a total price of $60,500.
The sale includes a spare set of tri-spoke wheels mounted with Michelin XGT Z tires.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Ohio since new.
