The car was finished from the factory in Dakar Yellow II and was repainted in the factory color in June 2020. Additional details include fog lights, Euro-style headlamps, a sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, and factory aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirrors. The hood struts were replaced in December 2020, and replacement license plate bulbs were fitted in October 2022, at which time the windshield cowl was replaced.
The 17″ Style 23 wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS tires showing 2018 date codes and measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 at the rear. The car is equipped with H&R coilovers, a Turner Motorsports rear control arm kit, traction control, and four-wheel disc brakes. A set of 17″ Style 39 wheels is included in the sale, of which one wheel is missing a center cap, as is the trunk-mounted spare. The brake fluid was flushed in October 2022.
The cabin features power-adjustable and heated Vader front sport seats upholstered in black Nappa leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Black Alcantara adorns the headliner, pillars, and rear bulkhead, and additional appointments include an onboard computer, M3-branded floor mats, a CD stereo, Bavarian Soundwerks speakers, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat, the right door panel tweeter cover is cracked, and the center console coin holder is broken.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just under 62k miles, approximately 700 of which were added under current ownership. A replacement steering wheel clock spring was installed in October 2022.
The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six has been modified with an aFe air intake system. The steering pump reservoir, the intake and return hoses, and the spark plugs and connectors were replaced in May 2019, and the battery was replaced in January 2020. The DME was repaired in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The exhaust gasket, ring seal, and hangers were replaced along with the transmission and differential fluids in May 2019. The transmission drain plug was replaced in October 2022.
Factory literature, two keys, service records, spare parts, license plate brackets, a panel removal kit, a cleaning kit, an air freshener kit, and a car cover along with a replacement coin holder and speaker rings are included in the sale.
