The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The 4.9-liter S62 V8 is equipped with individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS continuously variable valve timing. It was factory rated at 394 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 rpm, which is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Work in June 2022 is said to have included a coolant flush, and oil change, and changing the transmission fluid and differential fluid.
