A ceramic coating is said to have been applied to the truck’s finish. There are scratches in the paint around the bed area, and the edges of the step-up foot grips are curling.
Chrome-finished aluminum 19.5″ front and dually rear wheels wear a set of 245/70 Goodyear Endurance RSA tires with 2021 date codes. This F-650 rides on a 194″ wheelbase and features a Hendrickson HAS190 single-axle rear air-suspension system as well as the 23,500-pound Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) Package. The truck is further equipped with air brakes and a moisture-ejection system for the brakes.
Each side of the cab extender’s lower portion houses a filler neck for one of the vehicle’s dual 65-gallon fuel tanks.
The interior is upholstered in Medium Parchment leather with air-ride dual captain’s chairs up front and a bench in the rear. Amenities include power-adjustable heated front seats with Super CrewZer embroidery as well as air conditioning, cruise control, faux woodgrain trim, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and a sliding rear window. The rear seat folds forward and flat to create a bed.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 3,400-rpm redline, plus separate gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. A Reese trailer-brake controller is mounted underneath the dashboard. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just under 67k miles, approximately 14k of which were added under current ownership.
The 7.2-liter Caterpillar 3126B turbodiesel inline-six was rated at 300 horsepower and 860 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in anticipation of the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an MD-3066P CR Allison six-speed automatic transmission and a 4.33:1 axle. Corrosion is noted on some underbody components.
Manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, and a Caterpillar engine-service manual are included in the sale. The window sticker lists shipment to Fontaine Modification and initial delivery to Vista Ford along with factory colors, options, and a total MSRP of $90,920.
