The car is finished in Le Mans Blue Metallic (381) with Shadowline trim and features xenon headlights, headlight washers, fog lamps, a glass sunroof, tinted windows, a trunk lid spoiler, rain-sensing wipers, and quad exhaust outlets. The Carfax report lists a post-damage inspection in May 2003 with damage to the left-rear pillar, and an accident with another motor vehicle is listed in February 2005 reportedly involving a front or side impact. The hood as well as the right-rear door and quarter panel are said to have been repainted under previous ownership, and imperfections include scratches, dings, and rock chips in the windshield. Photographs of paint-meter readings are shown in the gallery below, and the seller states work performed in July 2022 involved resealing the left-rear quarter window.
This is a re-list after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in November 2022 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.
Chrome Shadow 18″ Style 65 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires that display 2021 production date codes. The car features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with All Season Traction, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs measuring 13.6″ and 12.9″ front and rear, respectively. The front thrust arms were replaced in February 2022. A power steering hose is weeping.
The cabin features Le Mans Blue and black Nappa leather covering the heated power-adjustable front sport seats, door panel inserts, center console, and lower dashboard, while burl walnut wood accents the upper dashboard, center console, and upper doors. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and navigation. The shifter knob is a replacement, and the removed wood-trimmed component is included in the sale. The right-front window regulator was replaced under current ownership. Signs of wear are noted on leather surfaces.
The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 65k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 is equipped with individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS continuously variable valve timing. It was factory rated at 394 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. An Eisenmann axle-back exhaust system has been installed, and the seller notes that recent work under current ownership has included an oil change and replacing the fuel tank breather valve and the air filters. A Blackstone Laboratories oil analysis report is provided in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Seepage is noted from the rear main seal, and the transmission cover is missing. Oil residue is present on the left side of the differential. The Carfax report lists “minor damage” to the undercarriage in November 2014, reportedly from the car being driven over a low road divider, and the seller reports that the wheels, tires, lower oil pan, scavenger oil pumps, and rear subframe were replaced as a result.
Manufacturer’s literature, service records, one key, and the removed factory mufflers are included in the sale.
