The car is finished in Mystichrome Clearcoat (G6), which contains ChromaFlair pigments that shift between topaz green, cobalt blue, royal purple, and deep onyx black. The Cobra was distinguished from the contemporary SN95 Mustang by unique front and rear valances, body-color mirror caps, rocker-panel moldings, an integrated rear spoiler, a style bar, and SVT and Cobra badging. Additional equipment includes a power-retractable black soft top, a vented hood, fog lights, and polished dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes a replacement antenna has been fitted and a paint-protection film was applied to the front of the vehicle. Imperfections in the finish can be seen in the gallery.
Chrome 17″ five-spoke wheels with SVT-logo center caps are mounted with 275/40 Nitto NT555 G2 tires that show 2020 production date codes. SVT-specific suspension components include linear-rate springs, gas-pressurized front struts and rear shocks, and an independent rear suspension.
The cabin features front sport seats and a contoured rear bench upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather with Mystichrome inserts and Cobra emblems embroidered on the front seatbacks. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver seat, aluminum-look pedal covers, and a factory CD stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer linked to a Mach audio system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features Mystichrome inserts and frames SVT instrumentation that consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 6k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added during current ownership.
The 4.6-liter DOHC V8 is equipped with a Roots-type supercharger, and a plaque showing the signatures of the engine builders is affixed to a valve cover. Factory-rated output was 390 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The battery is said to have been replaced and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A Borla cat-back exhaust system has been installed.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Jacky W Jones Ford of Cleveland, Georgia, along with factory colors, equipment, and a total MSRP of $43,225. Manufacturer’s literature and carpeted floor mats are also included in the sale.
