Black 16″ and 17″ split-spoke wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R888 tires measuring 195/50 up front and 225/45 out back. The car is equipped with Nitron triple-adjustable shocks, a rear tow link brace, and Sector 111 steering arms. Braking is handled by Lotus-branded calipers up front and slotted multi-piece rotors at all four corners along with braided brake lines. A removed set of Ultralight gunmetal 16″ and 17″ wheels mounted with Yokohama racing tires are included in the sale as well as an additional unmounted set of Yokohama racing tires.
The cabin features fixed-back bolstered seats trimmed in black leather upholstery along with a color-matched dashboard, side sills, and door panel inserts. Exposed aluminum structural details are present throughout, and additional features include the Touring package, power windows, Schroth harnesses, Lotus-branded floor mats, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD stereo. A fire extinguisher is mounted to the passenger floor.
The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and a digital display. The digital odometer indicates 23k miles, approximately 7k of which were added during current ownership.
The mid-mounted 1.8-liter 2ZZ-GE inline-four was sourced from Toyota and has been fitted with a Katana 265 supercharger kit along with dual oil coolers, a Larini muffler, and a Sector 111 G Pan, catch cans, and engine mounts. Service in 2021 included replacing the fuel injectors, throttle body, and throttle cable. The catalytic converter has been removed. A removed ECU, throttle body, and fuel injectors are included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle.
The Lotus Certificate of Vehicle Provenance shows factory colors, optional equipment, and a production date of November 24, 2004.
