The car is finished in Indianapolis Red Metallic with Shadowline trim and features a carbon-fiber roof panel as well as M-specific body styling. Additional equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights with washers, front and rear parking sensors, front fender vents with M6 badging, and quad exhaust outlets.
Staggered-width 19″ Style 167M wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires mounted in June 2020. The M6 featured revised suspension geometry and stiffer bushings front and rear when compared to the standard 6-Series, and was also factory equipped with Electronic Damping Control, Dynamic Stability Control, and M Dynamic Mode. Braking is handled by four-wheel vented and cross-drilled rotors measuring 14.7″ and 14.6″ front and rear, respectively.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in Portland Brown Merino leather that extends to the center console and door panel inserts. Wood trim accents the dashboard, center stack, and door panels, and amenities include iDrive with navigation as well as dual-zone automatic climate control and cruise control.
The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 17k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.0-liter S85B50 V10 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed SMG sequential transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. Service performed in March 2020 by Silvio’s Autohaus of Houston, Texas included the replacement of the oil pan gasket, seals, and bolts as well as the coolant temperature sensor, coolant hose, oil pump gaskets, drive belts, and engine compartment partition panels.
