Constellation-style 16″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 285/75 Continental TerrainContact tires that were installed in 2022. Stopping power is from four-wheel disc brakes, and the truck is equipped with manually-locking front hubs and leaf springs. A power steering hose was replaced in 2014.
The front cabin features captain’s chairs upholstered in patterned beige cloth and vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver seat, a swiveling passenger seat, power windows and locks, cruise control, air conditioning, cup holders, and an AM/FM CD stereo. A floor-mounted twin-stick transfer case shifter is located beside the driver seat.
The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and battery charge. The digital odometer indicates less than 37k miles.
The rear compartment features overhead storage cabinets, a power-operated ceiling vent, a propane-powered air heater, residential-style 110-volt outlets, and overhead lighting. The kitchenette is equipped with a sink as well as electric appliances, including a GE microwave oven and a refrigerator. A swing-out cabinet is attached to the aft side door.
The bench seat folds down into a sleeping surface, and additional features consist of a wardrobe, privacy shades, and an outdoor shower near the right-rear door. Power equipment includes a Tripp Lite inverter/charger and a breaker panel.
The 6.0-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 was rated at 235 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque when new. The turbocharger and transmission output speed sensor were replaced in 2013, and service in 2020 involved replacing the batteries, servicing the transmission, and changing the oil.
The van was converted to four-wheel drive by Sportsmobile as part of the camper upfit. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range Atlas transfer case.
Manufacturer’s literature is included with the sale along with service records.
