Black powder-coated 20” simulated beadlock wheels are mounted with 40×15.5” Toyo Open Country tires, and a matching spare is affixed to the swing-out rear carrier. The truck is equipped with a Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS), as well as a 2” suspension lift, Fox shocks with remote reservoirs, and a Predator six-piston big brake kit that features red-finished Wilwood calipers. The tie rod ends and left-front CV axle were replaced in 2019, and a brake fluid leak was repaired in November 2021.
The seating surfaces are trimmed in two-tone black and brown leather and are joined by matching door panels and brown carpeting. An Alpine touchscreen stereo has been fitted, and additional amenities include air conditioning, heated front seats, cruise control, keyless entry, a third-row bench seat, overhead speakers, and AudioControl amplifiers that were installed in March 2022. The rear passenger area features separate audio controls as well as dual headphone jacks. The shifter cables were adjusted in June 2019, and the heater blower motor was replaced in March 2022.
A three-spoke MOMO steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. An analog tire pressure gauge is mounted above the CTIS switches. The digital odometer indicates 17k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added during current ownership.
The 6.6-liter GM Duramax turbodiesel V8 has been modified with a Predator Motorsports RapTorq ECM upgrade and is fitted with dual Optima batteries. A glow plug was replaced in 2019 along with the serpentine belt, two exhaust donut gaskets, and PTO drive belt. The oil pan was also sandblasted and re-coated with POR-15 at that time. The air filter was replaced in November 2021 and an oil change was performed in March 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through an Allison five-speed automatic transmission, a selectable transfer case that was installed in June 2019, and electronically locking front and rear differentials. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
