The 16″ and 17″ split seven-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R888 tires measuring 195/50 up front and 225/45 at the rear. Braking is handled by ventilated and cross-drilled discs with AP Racing and Brembo calipers, and the car is equipped with traction control, Bilstein dampers, and a track-tuned suspension.
The seats are trimmed in black leather with Elise-embroidered headrests and quilted inserts, which extend to the door panel inserts. A fire extinguisher is mounted in the passenger footwell, and additional appointments include a Blaupunkt CD stereo, power windows, a storage net, aluminum pedals, floor mats, and air conditioning. The seats, door panels, and center console were replaced in August 2006, and the wiring harness was reportedly replaced at that time.
A three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 10k-rpm tachometer, a speedometer, and a digital display. The digital odometer shows just over 8k miles.
The transverse 1.8-liter 2ZZ-GE inline-four was sourced from Toyota and was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. A Sector111 oil filler cap has been fitted, and the removed oil filler cap is included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Exc. Imports of Scottsdale, Arizona, along with standard equipment, options, and a total suggested retail price of $54,500.
