Staggered-diameter 18″ and 19″ multi-spoke wheels are mounted with 275/35 front and 325/30 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires. Braking is handled by red-painted Corvette-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated discs at each corner.
The cabin features power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Ebony leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes Keyless Access, push-button start, a head-up display, a CD stereo with a touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, and automatic climate control.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added during current ownership.
The 7.0-liter LS7 V8 features dry-sump lubrication and was fitted with a Katech Stage 2 performance package in February 2022. The following components were added:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Stainless Works valved cat-back exhaust system and tubular headers were installed by Katech at the time of the Stage 2 conversion.
A plaque from Katech is mounted beneath the center armrest, and invoices from the conversion are pictured in the gallery below.
