Ten-spoke 19″ and 20″ AMG wheels are wrapped in Continental tires measuring 265/35 up front and 290/35 out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with AMG-branded calipers over slotted and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners, and the car is equipped with a three-stage ESP stability control system and speed-sensitive power steering. Curb rash is visible on the right-front wheel.
The heated sport seats are upholstered in black leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. Aluminum trim adorns the center console, vents, and door panels, and additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, COMAND multimedia with navigation and Bluetooth, Parktronic parking assist, and memory settings for the driver’s seat, steering column, and mirror. A concealed radar detector has reportedly been added.
A leather-wrapped AMG sport steering wheel frames a multifunction digital display flanked by a 240-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer in addition to inset oil-temperature and fuel-level gauges. The digital odometer shows 43k miles, 22k of which were added during current ownership.
The hand-assembled 6.3-liter M159 V8 is equipped with a magnesium intake manifold housing eight racing-type velocity stacks and was rated at 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque when new. A replacement battery is said to have been recently fitted.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Speedshift seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle, a carbon-fiber composite driveshaft, and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
