The 19″ RS Spyder forged wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston calipers over ceramic-composite rotors measuring 15″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
The cabin features heated and adaptive front sport seats upholstered in Carrera Red Natural leather complemented by aluminum-look trim and red climate vent slats. Features include driver-seat memory settings, ParkAssist, Bluetooth connectivity, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation.
The leather-wrapped sports steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer, as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 22k miles, fewer than 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six features direct fuel injection, VarioCam variable valve timing, and dynamic engine mounts. It was factory rated at 530 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The 997 Turbo S featured Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanically locking rear differential as standard.
