The Flying Spur sedan was introduced for the 2006 model year and featured a wheelbase that was 12.6” longer than that of the contemporary Continental GT coupe. This example is finished in black, and exterior details include a chrome grille, a powered sunroof, bi-xenon headlights with washers, rain-sensing windshield wipers, front and rear parking sensors, and heated and power-folding side mirrors with position memory.
Multi-spoke 20″ sports wheels wear 275/35 Pirelli P Zero tires. The Speed variant featured lower ride height, larger anti-roll bars, a solid-mounted front subframe, and stiffer dampers, springs, and rear bushings when compared to the standard Flying Spur. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock four-wheel vented disc brakes with Bentley-branded calipers.
The cabin features brown leather seats with perforated and diamond-stitched inserts along with embroidered headrest. Wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, door panels, and rear picnic tables, and amenities include massaging and power-adjustable front and rear seats, heated front seats, position memory settings, multi-zone automatic climate control, drilled alloy pedals, a power-closing trunk lid, and an 8″ touchscreen infotainment system connected to a 12-speaker audio system with Sirius XM radio and Bluetooth connectivity.
The wood-trimmed steering wheel features paddle shifters and frames a 210-mph speedometer, a tachometer, gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level, and a digital display with an odometer indicating 6k miles. A Breitling analog clock is mounted in the center stack.
The twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 was factory rated at 600 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 553 lb-ft of torque at 1,700 rpm.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed ZF transaxle that offers automatic and manual modes using the shift lever or steering column-mounted paddles. The factory stainless-steel dual exhaust system features rifled oval outlets.
