Approximately 100 C63 AMG Black Series coupes were produced for the North American market, each featuring a vented hood, wider fender flares, and revised bumper covers compared to the standard model. This example is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic and equipment includes bi-xenon headlamps with curve illumination along with a panoramic sunroof, tinted windows, a decklid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. Paint protection film was applied to the front of the car, the front of the roof, rear fender flares, rear bumper cover, mirror caps, and doors under prior ownership.
Staggered-width 19″ AMG forged alloy wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that measure 235/55 up front and 285/30 out back. The Black Series features a wider front and rear track, stiffer springs, larger anti-roll bars, adjustable spring perches, and two-way adjustable dampers. Stopping power is provided by red AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at each corner.
The power-adjustable and heated front seats and individual rear seats are upholstered in black leather with Alcantara inserts and contrasting red stitching. Amenities include Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, carbon-fiber interior trim, and red seat belts as well as COMAND infotainment with navigation, a Harman Kardon audio system, and a rearview camera.
The leather- and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features red stitching and paddle shifters, and it frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 28k miles.
The 6.2-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 produced 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque when new and is equipped with a unique engine control unit, a lightened crankshaft, and forged pistons and connecting rods.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The secondary catalytic converters were removed under prior ownership and are included in the sale. The car cannot be sold to an in-state private party.
