The Cayman R was approximately 120 pounds lighter than the S model due to a fixed rear wing, aluminum doors, and additional lightweight components. This example is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic and features bi-xenon headlights with PDLS in addition to fog lights, quarter-panel intakes, and dual center exhaust outlets. A dent is located on the left door sill, chips are visible on the windshield and rear bumper cover, blemishes are present on the front bumper cover and rear wheel arches, and wear is noted on the paint protection film, which has reportedly been applied to the front bumper cover, front fenders, hood, side mirror caps, portions of the rear bumper cover, and rear wheel arches.
The black-finished 19″ lightweight wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 235/35 up front and 265/35 at the rear. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management, and braking is handled by six-piston Brembo calipers over slotted rotors up front and Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at the rear.
The cabin features carbon-fiber full bucket seats upholstered in black leather with Alcantara inserts joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. An aftermarket roll bar has been fitted, and additional appointments include Schroth six-point harnesses, the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), navigation, rubberized floor mats, automatic climate control, and cruise control. A set of carpeted floor mats is included in the sale, and wear is noted on the seat bolsters and seatbacks. The rear strut tower trim components have been cut to accommodate the roll bar.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a hoodless instrument cluster housing a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates just under 9k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 330 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK transaxle.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
