A plaque identifying the car as #1 of a reported 5 ‘Tourist Trophy Limited Editions’ created by the dealer Morgan West Inc. is affixed under the bonnet.
Black wire wheels with three-ear knockoff hubs wear 4.00-19″ Avon tires showing 2015 date codes up front, while a single 15″ wheel with a 175/65 Bridgestone EP25 tire is mounted under the rear bodywork. Suspension consists of coil-overs mounted to the exposed double-wishbones up front as well as a motorcycle-style swingarm at the rear. Braking is handled by discs up front and a drum at the rear.
The cockpit features seating for two trimmed in quilted Yarwood Cuba leather with matching armrests and black leather dash panels. Details include a wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel mounted on a riser and a quick-release hub as well as a polished cup holder, a power outlet under the dashboard, leather storage pockets, heated seats, three-point seatbelts, and black rubber floor mats with leather trim.
Instrumentation mounted in a central aviation-style panel includes a 130-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer shows 183 miles, 30 of which have been added by the selling dealer. A start button is found under a flip-up cover, and toggle switches for the horn, headlights, and hazard lights are located below the gauges.
The air-cooled 1,979cc S&S Cycle X-Wedge V-twin was factory rated at 82 horsepower and features electronic fuel injection, a shrouded electric cooling fan to direct air to the rear of the cylinders, and a remote oil tank mounted under the bonnet as well as a Morgan Stage 1 dual exhaust system and polished open-element air cleaner.
Power is sent to the single rear wheel through a five-speed manual transmission, a Centa drive, a driveshaft, a bevel box, and a drive belt.
The trunk has a rear-hinged boot, and the liner can be removed to access the rear tire, suspension, and twin aluminum fuel tanks mounted on either side of the swingarm.
An owner’s manual, a build book, a leather bonnet strap, a mallet and wrench for the knock-off hubs, a can of flat-tire repair liquid, and a black Mohair tonneau cover are included in the sale.
The Morgan build ticket indicates the factory colors as well as the chassis number and trim options along with a November 24th, 2015 build date.
