The Competition package included a quicker steering ratio, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, and revised settings for the Adaptive M Suspension system and stability control. Braking is handled by silver-finished M-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. Curb rash is visible on the wheels, which are said to have received a ceramic coating in 2021.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black Merino leather along with carbon-fiber trim on the dashboard and center console. Additional appointments include heated power-adjustable lightweight front sport seats, heated rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access keyless entry, cruise control, a Harmon Kardon sound system, satellite radio, and iDrive infotainment with navigation and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The front seatbacks have been fitted with IND carbon-fiber covers, and additional aftermarket equipment includes an IND red starter button and an IND handbrake lever handle trimmed with carbon fiber and synthetic suede.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features red M1/M2 buttons and frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 46k miles, approximately 27k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six was factory rated at 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in Competition specification. The engine oil, spark plugs, and air filter were changed in August 2022.
