Championship Edition examples of the ATS-V were produced to commemorate Cadillac winning the 2017 IMSA Manufacturer, Driver, Team, and Endurance Championships. The car is finished in Black Raven and features automatic HID headlights, Red Obsession mirror caps, revised bumper covers, fog lights, parking sensors, tinted windows, quad Corsa exhaust outlets, a Lingenfelter windshield banner and door badges, and 2017 Championship Edition graphics on the hood and rear spoiler. The carbon-fiber package adds a front splitter, hood vent, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser in carbon-fiber.
Polished 18″ aluminum wheels wear 255/35 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in preparation for the sale. The car is equipped with Magnetic Ride Control and braking is provided by red-painted Brembo calipers over ventilated discs at each corner. Close-up photos of the wheel condition are provided in the gallery below.
The cabin features power-adjustable and climatized Recaro front seats upholstered in black leather with microsuede inserts while the lower dashboard and door cards are finished in Morello Red. Carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and upper door panels, and amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, aluminum pedals, ATS-branded rubber floor mats, and a Cadillac CUE infotainment system with navigation and Bose audio. Wear is noted on the driver’s outer seat bolsters.
A sueded multifunction steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, auxiliary gauges, and a configurable digital display. The odometer indicates 15k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 was modified by Lingenfelter with a ZZP cold air intake and updated engine management software. Dyno sheets are presented in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The transmission was recalibrated by Lingenfelter, and a Corsa 3″ axle-back exhaust system has been installed with a bung and plug for a wide-band oxygen sensor. Additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery.
