Dark chrome-finished 18” Halibrand-style wheels are secured by three-eared knock-off spinners and mounted with Nitto NT555R Extreme Drag and NT555 G2 tires with Goodyear Eagle press-on lettering. Braking is through Wilwood power-assisted discs at all four corners. The car rides on four-wheel independent suspension with Bilstein coilovers.
The cabin houses fixed-back seats trimmed in black leather with matching door panels. Black carpets and Shelby-branded mats line the floors, and amenities include power steering, glass wing windows, latch-and-link belts, dual cupholders, USB and 12-volt outlets, and a dash-mounted rear-view mirror.
A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with a Cobra-branded center cap sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that includes a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 2k miles.
The fuel-injected Roush 427IR V8 is equipped with individual throttle bodies and reportedly features a Dart four-bolt block and Roush CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads. Additional features are said to include a forged crankshaft and pistons, 4340 H-beam connecting rods, a hydraulic roller camshaft and rockers, FAST XFI engine management system, an eight-quart oil pan, aluminum radiator, and MSD distributor. The seller notes that fluid changes were performed in mid-2022. The results of a 2017 dyno run can be seen in the gallery below, and show results of 561 horsepower at 6k rpm, and 506 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm.
